Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Items can be exchanged or refunded if it is returned within 14 days from the date you receive your parcel. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, a refund or exchange cannot be offered. If getting in touch about a return, please include your order number and product details in the email.

Makeup Bar Hobart will always provide a refund or replacement in the event that a product is faulty or not fit for purpose in line with Australian Consumer Law.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

Alternatively, you can organise to return your product in salon, please contact us before doing so.

You will be notified once your return has been received and whether a refund has been approved. The refund will be processed to the original method of payment. We recommend using a tracked service to return the goods as any loss of the goods is bore by the sender. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item as it is the responsibility of the shipping company chosen by you.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@makeupbarhobart.com

 

Shipping

Goods will be shipped through Australia Post and may be subject to delays outside of our control. Please allow 1-2 business days for your item to be packed and sent, and a further 2-8 business days for delivery.

At present we offer only standard post or instore pick up (Hobart only). Please contact us to arrange pick up of your products as we are only open by appointment.
